AI Image Upscaler
Files are deleted automatically after 24 hours. We do not log your content or use it for AI training.
This upscaler makes a small or soft picture larger by predicting plausible detail instead of simply stretching pixels. Choose 2x or 4x and you get a bigger PNG with cleaner edges than ordinary resizing produces.
Typical uses are old family photos, small web images, game screenshots and product shots that were saved at too low a resolution. The work runs on our GPU server, and your file is deleted automatically after 24 hours.
How to use AI Image Upscaler
- Add a PNG, JPG or WebP image of up to 10 MB by dragging it in, picking a file or pasting from the clipboard.
- Choose the scale. 2x doubles width and height, 4x multiplies them by four. Start with 2x if the picture is already fairly large.
- Press Upscale image and wait while it is queued and processed. Larger images take longer.
- Use the before and after preview to check the detail, then download the PNG. Press Delete now to remove it from our server immediately.
Features
Pick the enlargement that matches your target size rather than upscaling more than you need.
A neural upscaler reconstructs edges and textures, so text and lines stay crisper than in bicubic resizing.
Compare the original and the result in the page before you download anything.
No account, no training on your files, and automatic deletion after 24 hours.
The output is a PNG, so no extra compression artefacts are added on top of the upscale.
Where upscaling works best
Clean, slightly small images respond best: product photos, illustrations, scans of printed photographs and screenshots. The model has plenty of structure to build on, so the enlarged result stays faithful.
Very small thumbnails or images with heavy blur give the model little to work with. In that case the output will be larger but still soft, and a 2x pass is usually more honest than 4x.
Preparing images before you upscale
Use the best copy you have. Re-saved and screenshot copies lose detail every time, so start from the original file when possible. If you only need the picture larger for print, check the final pixel dimensions against the print size you want at about 300 pixels per inch.
Frequently asked questions
What does AI upscaling do differently from resizing?
Normal resizing interpolates between existing pixels, which looks soft. An AI upscaler is trained on pairs of low and high resolution images and fills in believable detail, so edges and textures look sharper.
Does it recover detail that was never there?
It adds plausible detail, not the true original. Faces, text and fine patterns can change slightly, so check important images before relying on them.
What is the maximum file size and output size?
Uploads can be up to 10 MB in PNG, JPG or WebP. The output is two or four times the width and height of the input, so very large inputs at 4x produce very large files.
Should I pick 2x or 4x?
Pick the smallest scale that reaches your target. 4x on an already large photo takes longer and can exaggerate noise.
Will it remove noise or JPEG artefacts?
It often softens mild noise and compression blocks, but it is not a dedicated denoiser. Heavily damaged images may still show flaws.
Are my images kept?
Only long enough for you to download the result. Files are deleted automatically after 24 hours, and we do not log image content or train models on it.
