How to use Remove Text from Image

Frequently asked questions
Does it remove all text?
It removes text the detector finds. Very small, stylised, curved or low-contrast lettering can be missed. For those spots use the Remove Object from Photo tool and paint over them.
Will it work on busy backgrounds?
Text on plain or softly textured backgrounds comes out cleanly. Over faces or detailed patterns the fill can show visible patches.
Can I use it to remove watermarks?
Only on images you own or have the right to edit. Removing a watermark from someone else work may infringe their rights.
What is the maximum file size?
Uploads can be up to 10 MB in PNG, JPG or WebP.
Are my images kept?
Only long enough for you to download the result. Files are deleted automatically after 24 hours, and we do not log image content or train models on it.
