This photo enhancer cleans up a picture in one pass. A neural restorer reduces blur, noise and JPEG blocks, GFPGAN rebuilds faces, and the result is doubled in size.
It uses the same engine as our photo restoration tool, with 2x size selected and colourising off. It works best on faces and portraits; it does not adjust exposure, white balance or colour grading like a photo editor does.
How to use AI Photo Enhancer
- Drop a PNG, JPG or WebP photo (up to 10 MB) on the box.
- Size is set to 2x and colour is off. Choose 1x if you only want cleaning without enlarging.
- Press Restore photo and wait while the job is processed.
- Download the enhanced picture. Delete now removes it from our server at once.

Good inputs
Phone photos taken in low light, old digital camera pictures and compressed images from chats respond well. Very damaged prints with tears or missing areas are only softened, not repaired.
Frequently asked questions
Does it change exposure or colours?
No. It improves sharpness and detail, not brightness, contrast or colour balance. Use an editor for those, or the colorize tool for black and white photos.
Will faces look natural?
Usually, but face restoration invents detail and can change features slightly. Compare with the original before using it for something important.
How is this different from the upscaler?
The enhancer targets noisy, soft photos and faces. The upscaler is better for choosing 4x, an anime model or a pure size increase.
What are the file limits?
PNG, JPG or WebP up to 10 MB. At 2x the output has four times as many pixels, so very large inputs may be rejected.
Are my photos kept?
Only long enough for you to download the result. Files are deleted automatically after 24 hours, and you can remove them sooner with the Delete now button. We do not log image content or train models on uploads.
