How to use Instagram Post Maker

Making posts that get read
Instagram text is read on a phone, so keep headlines short and large. Aim for at most about 12 words on the image and put the detail in the caption instead.
Use the same two fonts and a small colour palette on every post so your feed looks consistent, and keep important text away from the edges where the feed grid can crop it.

What size should an Instagram post be?
Use 1080 pixels wide. Square posts are 1080 by 1080 and portrait posts are 1080 by 1350 (4:5). Stories and Reels covers are 1080 by 1920. Instagram may crop or resize other shapes.
Can I make a carousel?
Yes, one slide at a time: design a slide, export it, then change the text and export the next one with the same size and colours.
Does this post to Instagram for me?
No. It makes the image only. Download it and upload it with the Instagram app or the web composer.
Is my design uploaded or stored on your server?
No. The editor runs in your browser and your design is autosaved on your own device only. Images you add are not uploaded. Clearing site data removes the autosave, so use Save file to keep a copy.
